Open Vision Consulting was founded by Tamika Sultan, an economic development strategist and trusted advisor to leaders building work that carries real weight in their communities.

For more than a decade, Tamika has worked at the intersection of entrepreneurship, workforce development, agriculture, cultural production, and community-rooted economic growth. Through that work she has supported hundreds of startup and growth-stage businesses and initiatives through formation, restructuring, capital readiness, operational scaling, and strategic partnerships.

Her work focuses on helping leaders move from strong ideas to strong institutions. She supports organizations in developing the governance structures, operational systems, and strategic alignment needed to sustain meaningful impact over time.

Tamika believes the most important work deserves infrastructure that can hold it. Her approach helps leaders build organizations that can outlast funding cycles, leadership transitions, and shifts in public attention—while preserving the mission and values that gave the work purpose in the first place.

Her leadership has been recognized at both regional and national levels, including Congressional Recognition in 2021 and 2023, the New York State Senate Empire State Award, Chamber of Commerce honors, WEDC recognition, and the 2024 NAACP Woman of Honor distinction.
